Healing Ceremony

A blessing of the land and the people, It honors the memories of the fallen ones, warriors and ancestors. The memories of Cochise and his family who were unjustly hung at Ft. Bayard. The belt is a visual description of the crown dancers who blessed the grounds and renewed the area, so that Apache People could inhabit the land and recover our pride. Our ancestors have now made the land pure and without injustice.
